Right-click any Clip thumbnail in the Controller to open the Clip Editor Panel, a floating panel holding every setting a Clip has. Clip > Edit Clip… opens the same panel.

Effects are real-time visual treatments applied to a Clip. They add motion, texture, distortion, color shifts, and audio-reactive behavior without touching your original media files. A Clip can carry several at once, and every Effect can be dialed in for that one Clip.

Effects, Visualizers, and Overlays share one window with a tab across the top for each. Open any one of the three and you get that window with that tab in front.
