# File Menu

On Windows, the File menu also includes items that are in the [Application menu](https://manual.spaceage.tv/6.0.0/menus/menu-application/) on Mac, such as Registration, Settings, and editor windows.

## New Project…

Start a new Project. Visibox asks for a name and a location. The default location is your Documents folder, but you can choose any location on your computer or an external drive.

## Open Project…

Open an existing Project. Visibox asks you to select a Project file.

## Open Recent

Recent Projects are listed here. Choose Clear Menu to clear the list.

## Save As…

Save the current Project to a new location, media files and all. Use it to make a new version of the current Project, or to move a copy onto another drive.

## Close Project…

Closes the current Project.

## Clean Up Unused Files…

Clean Up Unused Files… acts like Empty Trash: it deletes media the Project no longer uses, to save space. Visibox keeps removed files until then, so Undo can still bring them back.

## Print…

Print a Setlist for your Project: the Project name at the top, the running order in large type with each Song’s note under its title, and each Song’s Clips beside it as numbered thumbnails. A Song never breaks across a page, and nothing is left off because it was scrolled out of sight in the Controller. Print a copy for everyone in the band, including whoever runs sound.

**Windows-only items.** On Windows, the File menu also contains these application-level items (on Mac these live in the [Application menu](https://manual.spaceage.tv/6.0.0/menus/menu-application/)):

*   Registration: see [Registration](https://manual.spaceage.tv/6.0.0/menus/menu-application/#registration).
*   Settings…, MIDI Map…, Pair with Remote…, Connect to AI Tools…, and Install CLI Tool…: no longer a submenu. Settings… sits on its own, then after a separator come MIDI Map…, Pair with Remote…, Connect to AI Tools… and Install CLI Tool…. *   Effects…: opens the [Effects Editor](https://manual.spaceage.tv/6.0.0/effects/#the-effects-editor).
*   Visualizers…: opens the [Visualizers Editor](https://manual.spaceage.tv/6.0.0/visualizers/#the-visualizers-editor).
*   Overlays…: opens the Overlays editor. No keyboard shortcut.
*   Exit: quits Visibox.
